A Little More Money In Your PaycheckStarting this week, part of the federal government's stimulus plan calls for putting a little bit more money into taxpayers' paychecks.  By little bit, I mean roughly $13 a week.  However, if all 4 million workers in the state would buy Michigan products with that extra cash, we can pump another $52,000,000 into our economy.  It's as simple as that.  I am challenging all the members and visitors of this website to spend that extra $13 on made in Michigan products.  >>>

Granholm has declared April "Michigan Wine Month" to honor Michigan's wide selection of quality wines and the wine industry's significant contribution to the economy. Michigan's wine and grape industries contribute nearly $800 million to the state's economy each year. Sales of Michigan wines rose 5 percent in 2008, while total wine sales experienced no increase.  >>>
