The Little Griddle For Your Grill
By Terri Anderson
Monday, March 14, 2005

The Original Griddle-QLittle Griddle Inc. is a family-owned corporation based in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Once founder John Button created the first griddle for his church's camping group, his wife, Vicki, started cooking on it at home for family meals, back yard entertaining and then they even took it along when camping themselves. They found they could make dozens of family and restaurant quality dishes all outside on their barbecue. It was a huge hit with everyone that saw it and enthusiastic barbecuers clearly wanted one of these griddles to use on their own grill.

Once creating Little Griddle Inc in 2000, they both quit their jobs by the end of 2001 and introduced the Griddle-Q to the public at a local Home & Garden Show. They hoped to sell the 19 units they made, but instead sold 83 units to customers willing to pay up front and wait 8-10 weeks for production!

Little Griddle Inc. offers a number of Griddle-Q sizes to fit your gas grill ranging from 12” X 16” to 26” X 14.75”. With articles about them in National BBQ News, Casual Living Magazine and USA Today Newspaper, their griddles have also been used by Ray Hollingsworth, executive chef at a restaurant in Sterling Heights, MI, and winner of the 1992 Culinary Olympics, and Ken Enck who caters for Nascar.

With summer coming up and more grills coming back out of hibernation, check out this versatile grill accessory for all your cooking needs right on your grill. Eat well while you support the Michigan economy – what could be better?  >>>
